This is such a nice crochet kit. It has absolutely everything you'll need but the yarn.Everything is quality-made and feels great. Like the crochet hooks, they are very comfortable holding them in your hands.Seriously, this has everything you need to get started but the yarn. I am a bug fan of Noocro kits, this is my third.I love the cotton acrylic blend, it feels like such nice quality yarn, the blend gives a cotton look and feel, but the acrylic means it is less hard on my hands as I work with it.I like that these kits have a chart for the project. If you know how to use a chart or want a kit that will help you learn I would suggest this, or any of the Noocro kits. I also love that these kits are for items that are not amigurumi.This kit has nice soft cotton acrylic blend in muted tones of greys, white, and pink as an accent. The yarn feels like it is a weight 3 DK yarn or possibly a light 4 worsted.I like that it also includes a pompom maker so you can fully complete the project pompoms and all.I wish the needle in this kit was metal and not plastic, because I really hate plastic needles, especially the ones with the super wide eye, but that is really my only gripe.There is enough yarn to finish the project with a little extra for mistakes a beginner might make.This kit is great for the beginner to experienced crocheter. It is a granny square pattern that is enjoyable and can be a little mindless and you end up with a useable product in the end.The hook is ergonomic with a metal shaft and hook. It is a 3.5 which is fine, but I may never understand why kits are so dead set on smaller hook projects.The stitch markers are a safety pin style plastic stitch marker, which are reusable in both crocheting and knitting projects.Overall this is a lovely kit, it is 25$ at the time of writing this, which for the quality of tools, materials, and instructions feels worth it to me.

This is your One stop shop for on-the-go crocheting! I have done so many crochet projects on road trips and it is so hard to keep track of everything and make sure you have all the right size hooks. This combines just about everything you need into one tidy bag for you! It even includes handy little scissors! I am thoroughly impressed at everything that has been packed into this cute little bag!I don't know if the circle loop starters are all that helpful or not, I had never even heard of them until this. I'm just used to doing the circle loops on my own. But I imagine they may be helpful for a beginner learning, or even for teaching someone to help them understand!

The kit is almost perfect. I really like the quality of the yarn and the hook—it was a pleasant surprise. My only complaint is that I ordered the dark version, but the inner bag is bright, and the thread provided to sew it in is white. I replaced it with a brown thread to ensure it wouldn't show through the outer crocheted layer.Overall, this kit is the best of any I have purchased before

I took awhile to get started on this one, but I love it. Actually, I love Noocro in general, and I'm always excited when a new one of their kits come out.So far, I've done one of the squares and most of the top, so that I could verify that I could follow the instructions. I have a really large head, so at the end of the day, this will more than likely be a gift for one of my friend's grandchildren, but I feel like I might be able to increase the size even though I'm still new at this. I reckon one more granny square and extend the circumference of the top with some extra rounds, and I can do a larger version of this.I'm still not sure if I want to go through with the fuzzy yarn, but it's good practice in any case. I love that I'll know how to do a bucket hat after this.I also love that all these kits come with everything you need. I have my own set of crochet hooks that I prefer for projects where I supply the yarn, but I also use the crochet hooks included with the kit, so I can tell you, those are good quality hooks, and the ergonomic handle is ideal for a beginner.The yarn doesn't fray easily. It reacts well to frogging.All in all a fun project.

Nicer than I thought it would be! Love the wooden frame. Took some time to put it together but not super long. It was kind of fun following the instructions. It folds up and it’s a nice size too! I keep it in my living room as an organizer so I can quickly put it away when company comes over. Keeps clutter down for sure!

I love to crochet, but finding projects can sometimes be a chore. This purse kit is cute, fun to make, and comes with everything you need.Granny squares are a great way to learn to crochet and this one has a new (to me) stitch, the half double crochet puff. It’s easy to learn and adds a nice touch to the center of the granny squares.I did find it a little difficult to get the plastic needle through the holes in the plastic canvas when it came time to sew the purse together, but a little squeeze to the eye of the needle thinned it enough to get it through.I’m happy with the way this turned out. It’s a great project for all skill levels.

This kit comes with everything you need, and you can make a really nice bag with it! I am impressed. The strap of the bag is a bit cheap feeling, but can easily be replaced, so that's no big deal. I love that this bag comes with a cotton zip liner AND that you assemble it onto a firm plastic mesh to keep the bag in shape, so it won't get stretched out when you put things in it. It's nice to have a kit where you can make something and actually use it for the intended purpose! Plenty of yarn (about 40% extra in each color I would estimate). Instructions in the booklet are limited, so you will probably need the videos, at least for assembly, but that's the norm these days I think. Took me a weekend to make this bag. I'm really thrilled with it.

Oh my gosh. There is a lot of stuff that comes with this. All the mini skeins of yarn just tell me that I am going to be tying in a LOT of ends. But, these are granny squares and are colorful so that's expected. You get a ton of mini skeins, one main color skein, a liner, plastic forms, bag handles and D rings, stitch markers, and a crochet hook. It comes with everything you need.Now, my first impression upon opening the manual was "Oh No, Charts!" I have used crochet charts before but I have always found them hard to look at. The key to the charts is on a different page, but is available if you need it. They can be handy if you know how to read them. There are written directions also with a QR code that gives you videos to walk you through it, so you don't have to rely on the charts. For the color combos, they give you a "Color Table" diagram and it references what colors to use and where for each square. The manual is extensive and straight forward with lots of colored photos and directions. They even give you time stamps for where to look things up in the instructional video. I find directions work differently for everyone, but they have really tried to include everything and I found these fairly easy to understand.I would classify myself as an intermediate to advanced crochetter. I think if you are confident beginner, you should be able to do this, they definitely give you all the tools to be successful. Overall its a great and colorful kit that will give you a fun and pretty unique bag. It's a very well thought out pattern, I recommend it if you're looking for a fun project and want to try something new.

What I'm about to compliment this kit on you might say "well duh" but everything I'm about to say is not normally what you get from random crochet kits on Amazon so I think it is worth being said.TLDR; Great kit, I recommendThere are 3 color variations, and I got the extra booklet just for my color variation so I knew exactly which round I needed for each color. The color on the booklet guide matched the color on the yarn labels (the yarn was actually labeled too!)The instructions were pretty clear, but there was also a chart to help you understand the written instructions. There were a ton of colored pictures in the pattern to help you even more clearly understand the steps.It came with exactly the sized plastic canvas that was needed, and the d-rings and strap are really good quality. (Honestly the worst part is the canvas bag, but its really just a liner so no big deal)Overall, the purse keeps its shape, the pattern was easy enough to follow, and there was plenty of yarn to complete the project. I would actually highly recommend this crochet kit as a gift to your loved one who crochets!

This would be fantastic for any beginner (or someone looking for a refresher)!The finished hat will fit a variety of sizes, it might be a bit small to fit folks with more generous sized heads. Kids, petite persons and adults with a smaller hat size should be quite comfortable.This kit is also available is a large variety of color schemes, including some very gentle neutrals and some very bright colorways.

I love this. I crochet slow, so it's gonna take me awhile to get this done. I know it will warm because it is yarn. So far its been easy, just slow.

I chose the multi color because it's the closest to what I remember seeing growing up in the 70's. These sans the fur were all the rage with matching ponchos.The kit comes with what looks like the exact amount of yarn you need, with a hook and a color booklet detailing how to crochet so even a beginner could easily make this. Their magic circle is different than mine, but it works with either version if you learned differently.The yarn doesn't give the weight on the skein which is unusual and if it's anywhere else I've missed it. But a simple wrap test gives 11 wraps per inch making it a worsted weight yarn. Ergo if you're like me and you use patterns over and over, you'll need to buy worsted weight yarn.My only complaint is it took over a month to arrive and I'm out of vacation to work on it. So, a finished project will have to wait. But the beginning circle looks good, the yarn is smooth and easy to work with and looks good so far.

I'm looking forward to making and wearing this cute crocheted hat! I ordered the black and pink - which also sports blue and green yarn in the flower. The kit comes complete with everything needed to complete the project. The yarn is good quality, but had two minor flaws - one in the blue and 1 in the pink (pictured above). The included crochet hook has an ergonomic, silicone handle which is easy to grip and to hold. The plastic yarn needle and the six stitch markers are a helpful addition to the kit. The instructions are probably the best written that I've seen in a crochet kit! They provide a description of all the abbreviations and symbols used, and great pictures and illustrations. I read through the whole booklet before beginning, and I'm glad I did, because I found a section with directions for how to make the magic circle and each stitch type at the end. This is a fun kit for anyone, from beginner to advanced, who wants/loves to crochet!
